I am Dr. Brahma, a board certified Adult Psychiatrist. I was born in North Dakota and raised in Kolkata, India. I pursued medical school in India before returning to the US. I am bi-cultural and trilingual, fluent in English, Bengali, and Hindi. My work primarily focuses on adults and late teens/young adults where I combine Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with medication management to address various mental health challenges. My practice is mostly telehealth. I collaborate with and refer to CBT, DBT, or family and couples therapists as needed. Finding a good fit with a mental health professional is critical in achieving desired therapeutic outcomes.

Dr. Court and I came to know each other around our mutual shared interest in medical and social justice. You can read below for more info.

This year, I have taken on the personal challenge of planting 2 trees per month and have successfully planted 7 so far.
